R.A.D. Training at UA-Little Rock in October 🗓 🗺

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Police Department is hosting a four-day Rape Aggressive Defense (R.A.D.) class for women during the month of October. The class will be held Oct. 10, 13, 17 and 22 at the University District at 5820 Asher Ave., in Little Rock.

Class times are 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, 17 and 22 and 12:30-3:30 p.m. on the 13th.

Every class will be a continuation of the class before. The class will include discussions on the risks of personal safety, risk reduction strategies, weapons and targets of the body, as well as practicing strikes, kicks, blocking and more.

The cost of the R.A.D. class is $20 per person. There is no cost for students, faculty and staff at UA-Little Rock.
