UAMS Researcher Aids Cancer Prevention With Method for Identifying Colon Polyp Type

LITTLE ROCK – Research led by a University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) professor of medicine and genetics has found a way to identify a type of polyp in the colon that may account for as much as 30 percent of colon cancers, a potential breakthrough in colon cancer prevention.

Feb. 11, 2014 | Former dean of two University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) colleges and longtime UAMS supporter Thomas A. Bruce, M.D., has donated $275,000 to construct a fountain on campus in memory of his late wife.

Support Group to Address Teen Dating Violence
