LITTLE ROCK – Emergency response drills by federal, state and local agencies, will be held from 4-8 p.m. April 22-23 on the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) campus, and will include a scenario with an explosion and armed intruders.

From the hands that comfort patients in pain to those who guide visitors around the hospital, UAMS recognized all volunteers for their efforts and honored a longtime volunteer who lost her battle with cancer last year at the annual UAMS Medical Center Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.
