Issam Makhoul, M.D., Named Inaugural Hutchins Distinguished Chair for Hematology and Oncology at UAMS

LITTLE ROCK – Issam Makhoul, M.D., has been named the inaugural recipient of the Laura F. Hutchins, M.D. Distinguished Chair for Hematology and Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is director of the Division of Hematology/Oncology in the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
