UAMS Free Public Seminar on Adolescent Mental Health
| UAMS Psychiatry will hold a public seminar on teenaged mental health Tues., April 29, in Little Rock.
The seminar, “Adolescent Mental Health: A Seminar Every Parent Should Attend,” will be 9-11:30 a.m. in Sam Walton Auditorium on the 10th floor of the Arkansas Cancer Research Center at UAMS. During the seminar, a psychiatrist, a psychologist, and social workers will discuss adolescent social-emotional development, teenagers’ mood swings, when medication is helpful, and other advice for parents.
