UAMS Kids First to Celebrate 10 Years in Warren
| WARREN, Ark. – UAMS Kids First in Warren will celebrate its tenth anniversary with an “All Class Reunion” with games and refreshments Thursday, Aug. 7, 3 –5 p.m., at 222 E. Central St., Warren, for all present and former Kids First children and their families. Since opening in 1993, UAMS Kids First in Warren has helped 500 children, ages six months to three years, with fragile medical conditions. It is part of a statewide network of 11 centers operated by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
The UAMS Kids First centers provide intensive early learning experiences along with health care. Teams of specialists in medicine, early childhood development, social work, nutrition, and therapeutic services work to meet the needs of the children and their families. A primary care doctor’s referral is necessary for enrollment in Kids First.
