UAMS Specialist to Discuss Acute Pain March 11 in El Dorado
| EL DORADO – Ahmed H. Ghaleb, M.D., of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will discuss “Acute Pain” at noon Thursday, March 11, in El Dorado, Ark.

Ghaleb is director of the Center of Pain Medicine at UAMS and an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the UAMS College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree and completed an internal medicine residency in Egypt. He served an anesthesia residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and a pain management fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
