Paintings by Sue Harvey in Exhibit May 3 – June 30 at UAMS
| LITTLE ROCK – Paintings by S. Sue Harvey, an employee in the College of Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will be on display May 3 – June 30 in the second-floor gallery of the UAMS Library.
The Arts of UAMS exhibit, “A Journey of Creativity,” is a collection of paintings. Some of the paintings are of a local or whimsical nature, while others feature interesting scenes from Harvey’s travels to Canada, Maine, Oregon and California. Harvey received a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a major in art, from Southwest Missouri University in Springfield. She believes that her strongest work comes from plein air, or outdoor painting. A member of Mid-Southern Watercolorists, Harvey paints in her spare time and sells her work through exhibits, on the Internet (www.sandrasharvey.com), and at various galleries.
