UAMS Makes Additions, Promotions to Campus Operations Staff

LITTLE ROCK – The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) recently selected five new members for its Campus Operations Management Team.


 


The employees and positions are:



  • Angela May, director of Nutrition Services. She has been a clinical dietitian at UAMS and at the Baptist Health System in Little Rock.
  • Sherie Brown, director of Campus Housekeeping.  
  • Dean Baribeau, director of Clinical Engineering. He has worked for the UAMS Clinical Engineering Department since 2000.
  • Carol Price, director of Occupational Health and Safety.  She has been assistant director of Occupational Health and Safety since 2003.
  • Jennifer Conrad, catering manager in the Nutrition Services Department.  She was The Peabody Little Rock’s director of Catering & Conference Services.


UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with five colleges, a graduate school, a medical center, five centers of excellence and a statewide network of regional centers. UAMS has about 2,320 students and 690 medical residents. It is the state’s largest public employer with more than 9,300 employees, including nearly 1,000 physicians who provide medical care to patients at UAMS, Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the VA Medical Center. UAMS and its affiliates have an economic impact in Arkansas of $4.4 billion a year.
