UAMS’ Baker Named to National Ultrasound Exam Task Force

LITTLE ROCK – Anthony Baker, an instructor in the diagnostic medical sonography program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has been selected by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) to assist with the development of national certification examinations for sonographers.


 


Baker was named one of the “subject matter experts” on the ARDMS’ Ultrasound Physics and Implementation Exam Development Task Force. His three-year term on the task force will begin in February, when he will start assisting with the development of certification exams.


 


Baker joined the UAMS faculty in 2000 as an instructor in the Division of Diagnostic Medical Sonography of the Department of Radiologic Imaging Sciences in the UAMS College of Health Related Professions. He is a registered vascular sonographer and diagnostic medical sonographer in abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology and neurosonology.
