UAMS Announces $4 Million Gift from Doyle and Raye Rogers Family
| LITTLE ROCK —The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) today announced a gift of $4 million from Doyle and Josephine Raye Rogers of Batesville; their daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Paul Hoover; and their son and daughter-in-law, Doyle “Rog” and Carolyn Rogers, all of Little Rock. Barbara Hoover serves on the ACRC Foundation Fund Board and is former chairman of the UAMS Foundation Fund Board Chancellor’s Circle, while her husband, Paul, is a member of the UAMS Foundation Fund Board. The UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with five colleges, a graduate school, a medical center, six centers of excellence and a statewide network of regional centers. UAMS has about 2,430 students and 715 medical residents.
