UAMS Names Alonso Compliance Officer for Faculty Practice
| LITTLE ROCK – Paula Alonso has been named compliance officer for the Faculty Group Practice, the medical practice for faculty members at the Alonso, a registered health information administrator and certified coding specialist, will assist faculty physicians with billing issues related to their practice. She also will provide coding/billing training to new faculty physicians who see patients through the Faculty Group Practice. Alonso served since 1999 as director of health information management at UAMS.
