UAMS Names Shell Senior Art Director

LITTLE ROCK – The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has named Laurie Bonnot Shell senior art director and designer for the Division of Creative Services in the UAMS Office of Communications and Marketing.


Shell, who joined UAMS in 2003, serves an art director for award-winning UAMS publications HouseCall and Seek in addition to her graphic design work on other projects. She previously worked as art director for Jacuzzi Brothers in Little Rock. Prior to that, she was a senior graphic designer for Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City, Mo.


Shell, of Benton, earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design in 1984 from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.


UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with five colleges, a graduate school, a medical center, six centers of excellence and a statewide network of regional centers.
