Seniors Invited to Sign Up for Computer Classes at UAMS
| LITTLE ROCK – Computer classes for people ages 50 and older are being held monthly at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Classes for March are:
• File Management, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
• Word Processing, Mondays and Wednesdays, Noon – 2 p.m.
The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group. Classes are in Room 1155 at the Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Dr., Little Rock. The cost is $40 per month for individuals and $65 a month for couples. An optional textbook is $15. The types of classes vary monthly and include lessons on the Internet, Quicken, graphics, genealogy and spreadsheets. Each class is two hours and is held twice a week. Times and days of the classes also vary month to month, and no classes are held in December.
