UAMS Announces June Computer Classes for Seniors
| LITTLE ROCK – An introduction to computers and Exploring Windows XP will be taught in June for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Class schedules begin June 7 and 8. They are:
• Introduction to Computers, Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
• Exploring Windows XP, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m
The monthly cost is $40 per course for individuals and $65 for couples. An optional textbook is $15. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group. Classes are in Room 1155 at the Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive, Little Rock. For more information and to register for a class, call 501-603-1262.
