Halley Beard Named Volunteer Coordinator at UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute
| LITTLE ROCK – Halley Beard has been named volunteer coordinator at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She will assist with the operation of the Cancer Institute’s volunteer program and auxiliary.
Beard previously served as volunteer coordinator and office manager for development at Easter Seals Arkansas.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
With more than 600 members, the Cancer Institute Auxiliary is one of the largest volunteer auxiliaries in Arkansas.
UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Related Professions and Public Health; a graduate school; a hospital; a statewide network of regional centers; and seven institutes: the Winthrop P.
