UAMS Sets November Computer Classes for People 50 and Up
| LITTLE ROCK – Computer classes on Genealogy – Legacy 7, Quicken 2010, Word 2007, and Introduction to Computers will be taught in November for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Classes begin Nov. 1. They are:
• Quicken 2010, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – noon
• Word 2007, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 – 3 p.m.
• Genealogy – Legacy 7, Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – noon
• Introduction to Computers, Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 – 3 p.m.
The monthly cost is $40 per course for individuals and $65 for couples. An optional textbook is $15. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group.
