Keith Whitworth Joins UAMS as Director of Marketing

He will direct all UAMS marketing and advertising services to support strategic initiatives across education, research and clinical areas.

Whitworth was previously marketing manager for SoutheastHEALTH, a health system headquartered in Cape Girardeau, Mo., where he managed marketing, advertising and creative and production services. He has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Southeast Missouri State University and an MBA with an emphasis in health management from William Woods University. Whitworth has a wide range of marketing and advertising experience including video and television commercial production, media buying and implementing marketing projects for strategic initiatives.

UAMS is the state’s only health sciences university, with colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Professions and Public Health; a graduate school; a hospital; a main campus in Little Rock; a Northwest Arkansas regional campus in Fayetteville; a statewide network of regional campuses; and eight institutes: the Winthrop P.
