UAMS Sets SeniorNet May Computer Classes for People 50 and Up
| LITTLE ROCK — Computer classes — Digital Photography Using Picasa, Fundamentals for Beginners, File Management, and Introduction to Computers — will be taught in May for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Computer classes begin May 4. They are:
- Digital Photography Using Picasa, Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
- Fundamentals for Beginners, Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m.
- File Management, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to noon
- Introduction to Computers, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-3 p.m.
The cost for classes is $45, and student manuals are $15. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group. Classes are in Room 2156 at the UAMS Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive, Little Rock.
