UAMS Sets SeniorNet July Computer Classes for People 50 and Up
| LITTLE ROCK — Computer classes — Fundamentals for Beginners and Computer Maintenance — and workshops — Tips & Ideas for Easy Mail Merging and Internet Workshop — will be taught in July for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Computer classes and workshops begin July 6. They are:
- Fundamentals for Beginners, Mondays and Wednesdays, July 6-29, 10 a.m. to noon.
- Tips & Ideas for Easy Mail Merging, July 14 and 16, 1-3 p.m.
- Internet Workshop, July 20, 22 and 24, 1-3 p.m.
- Computer Maintenance, July 28 and 30, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The cost for classes is $45, and student manuals are $15. The Tips & Ideas workshop is $20 and the Internet Workshop is $30, both include manuals. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group. Classes are in Room 2156 at the UAMS Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive, Little Rock.
