Hematologist/Oncologist A. Naidu Sasapu, M.D., Joins UAMS
| LITTLE ROCK – A. Naidu Sasapu, M.D., a fellowship-trained hematologist/oncologist, has joined the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He sees patients in the Medical Oncology Clinic and specializes in treating lymphomas, leukemias and other hematological disorders, including bone marrow transplantation.
Sasapu is an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine Division of Hematology/Oncology and a graduate of the three-year UAMS Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program.
After earning his medical degree at Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, he completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Sasapu is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
