UAMS Sets SeniorNet September Computer Classes for People 50 and Up
| LITTLE ROCK — Computer classes — Fundamentals for Beginners and Introduction to Computers — will be taught in September for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
The classes begin Sept. 1. The class schedule is:
- Fundamentals for Beginners, Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to noon.
- Introduction to Computers, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The cost for classes is $45, and student manuals are $15. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group. Classes are in Room 2156 at the UAMS Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive, Little Rock.
