College Celebrates Graduates at Hooding Ceremony

| The College of Health Professions honored its 72 graduates earning master’s and doctoral degrees at a May 19 academic hooding ceremony, held at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Faculty members from the various programs invested the graduates with the academic hoods they would wear around their shoulders at UAMS graduation on May 21. The program or level of degree was denoted by the color of the hood.

Invested with hoods were students graduating with Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Doctor of Audiology, Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition, Master of Science in Genetic Counseling, Master of Imaging Sciences — Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate, Master of Imaging Sciences — Radiologist Assistant and Master of Physician of Assistant Studies degrees.

Addressing the crowd were Provost Stephanie Gardner, Pharm.D., Ed.D., College of Health Professions Dean Douglas Murphy, Ph.D., Graduate School Dean Robert McGehee, Ph.D., and Ann Bain, Ed.D, M.S.N, dean for the College of Education and Health Professions at UALR.
