UAMS Conference Oct. 20-22 Offers Nurses Continuing Education Opportunity

The three-day conference, sponsored by the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in the UAMS College of Medicine, will offer 22.75 hours of continuing education. It will be held in the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute at UAMS.

The conference will feature nicotine replacement therapy in the clinical setting, updates on osteoporosis and multiple sclerosis, simulations, pulmonary hypertension, new anticoagulants and sessions on mental illness, risk management and chronic pain.

Nurses can receive an early-bird price of $290 for the full conference or $265 for two days when registering before Sept. 30. Single-day registration is also available. To register, call 501-526-5439 or visit cme.uams.edu.
