Alicia BairdAlicia Baird, B.S., COMT, CO is the new department chair for the Department of Ophthalmic Technologies. Previously, Baird worked as a certified orthoptist and certified ophthalmic medical technologist at University Hospitals and Rainbow Babies Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.


Katie BishopKatie Bishop, B.S., CST previously a certified surgical technologist at Baptist Health North Little Rock, joins UAMS as an instructor in the Department of Respiratory and Surgical Technology.


Bradley DavisBradley Davis, Au.D., CCC-A is a new assistant professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology. Most recently, Davis worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Disorders at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.


Ashley Fairchild McCraryAshley Fairchild-McCrary, M.P.A.S., PA-C joins UAMS as an assistant professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. Previously, she worked as a physician assistant at Conway Baptist Emergency Medical Center.


Jason KeyJason Key, M.Ed., MLS (ASCP)CM  is now an assistant professor in the Department of Laboratory Sciences. Key previously worked as medical technologist at the John L. McClellan VA Hospital and as an adjunct instructor in the department.


Stephen KintzStephen Kintz, Ph.D. joins UAMS as an assistant professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology. Kintz earned his doctorate in 2017 from East Carolina University.


Cherika RobertsonCherika Robertson, M.Ed., MLS (ASCP)CM joins the college as an assistant professor in the Department of Laboratory Sciences. Robertson recently served as an adjunct instructor in the department.


Laurel SextonLaurel Sexton, D.P.T., PT, WCS is a new assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. While working as a physical therapist in Northwest Arkansas, she served as an adjunct instructor in the department.


Heather TrudeauHeather Trudeau, M.P.A.S., PA-C  joins UAMS as an assistant professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. She previously worked in Michigan as a physician assistant and as a clinical instructor for osteopathic patient care courses at Michigan State University of Osteopathic Medicine.


Christopher WalterChristopher Walter, Ph.D., PT joins UAMS as an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. He earned his doctorate in 2017 from the University of Utah.
