Adult Vaccinations to Be Given Sept. 28 at UAMS Center on Aging-Northeast in Jonesboro

Adult vaccinations for flu and pneumonia will be administered from 9-11 a.m. at the center at 303 E. Matthews. A TDap (tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough) booster vaccine and a vaccine for shingles will be offered as well. Educational information on the importance of vaccinations will be distributed to patients.

Anyone interested in receiving a vaccination at the event should bring their insurance card for billing. Free parking and refreshments will be available. For more information, call Valerie Fielder at 870-207-7600 or email her at vwfielder@uams.edu.
