UAMS Sets Summer Computer Classes for Adults
| LITTLE ROCK – Two computer classes – Intermediate Computers and Computer Basics – will be taught this summer for adults at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
The courses will be presented by the Little Rock Digital Learning Center, a nonprofit volunteer group in collaboration with LifeQuest of Arkansas, with classes being held at both the UAMS Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging on the UAMS campus and at Second Presbyterian Church in west Little Rock.
The schedule for July classes at UAMS is:
- Computer Basics, Mondays and Wednesdays, July 8-24, 10 a.m.-noon
- Intermediate Computers, Mondays and Wednesdays, July 8-24, 1-3 p.m.
The schedule for the July-August class at Second Presbyterian Church is:
- Powerpoint Tips and Tricks, Thursdays, July 11-August 1, 1:30-3 p.m.
Course fee for the three-week classes at UAMS is $60, including a manual, and $50 for the workshop at Second Presbyterian Church. Classes are in Room 2156 at the UAMS Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive and in Room 64 of Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive.
