Team UAMS Takes on Blue and You Fitness Challenge

| It’s almost time for the 2020 Blue and You Fitness Challenge. Before we lace up our sneakers and get to work, let’s look back at the 2019 challenge.

More than 900 people were part of Team UAMS. One internal team had more than 100 members!

Pathology/Lab Medicine won first place in the 51+ participants category.

Team UAMS received an award in ACHI’s Hospital Challenge for having the highest level of participation among large hospitals in the Blue & You Fitness Challenge for 2019.

The internal team challenge was a close battle with no clear winner until the last day for logging passed.

The top three from each internal team category within Team UAMS are listed below.

2-7 Participants category:

  1. Integration
  2. Chancellor’s Office
  3. Orthobots

8-20 Participants category:

  1. Koala- Tea Party
  2. Lettuce Turnip the Beet
  3. Brains and Beauties: NeuroSur

21-50 Participants category:

  1. Namaste PA
  2. Family of Fitness
  3. Communications and Marketing

51+ Participants

  1. Pathology/Lab Medicine
  2. IT Wired for Fitness
  3. UAMS Finance

Location

  1. Southwest UAMS
  2. Central Arkansas UAMS
  3. Northwest UAMS

Participants who didn’t drop out were given a T-shirt for being on the team.
