Six New Members Join UAMS Reynolds Institute on Aging Advisory Board

The new Advisory Board members are:

  • Rebecca Farrow, of Little Rock, is a former real estate agent and former social worker at the Ozark Guidance Center in Springdale and Protective Services for Children and the Elderly in DeRidder, Louisiana.

  • Jane Rogers, of Little Rock, is a former member of the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees, Board of Directors for National Chi Omega as well as former National Chi Omega Foundation president, and Simmons Bank Board of Directors, among others.
  • Robert Fincher, M.D., of Little Rock, is a well-known radiologist who is a former U.S. Navy physician, medical director of Baptist Breast Center, director of breast imaging at UAMS and medical director of the UAMS Breast Center before retiring in 2015.
  • Peggy Clark, of Hot Springs, is the owner of Clark Timberlands, LLLP in Arkadelphia. She is a member of several state and local forestry organizations and has been recognized by Arkansas Business as one of the Top 100 Women in Arkansas.

  • Sally Sedelow, of Heber Springs, is a former research scientist for System Development Corp. and contributed to one of the world’s first major initiatives in artificial intelligence. She worked in computer science and linguistics and joined the National Science Foundation, where she founded its efforts in intelligent systems.
  • Kathleen Brown, of Little Rock, received her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville and is licensed in New York. She worked for the Arnold Grobmyer and Haley Law Firm, National Broadcasting Company (NBC) in New York City as a network sales legal counsel, and Dover and Dixon Law Firm.

The Institute on Aging Advisory Board members serve as ambassadors to support and publicize the institute’s mission, which includes six Centers on Aging located throughout the state where the needs of an aging generation are met with the highest standards of service, research and care.
