The Pain Clinic team treats back pain, arthritis, cancer, complex regional pain syndrome and other forms of chronic pain and offers the latest treatments and technologies. The multidisciplinary team combines the skills of pain management physicians, physical therapists, physiatrists (physicians specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation), neuroradiologists, neurologists, psychologists and neurosurgeons.

Shah received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She completed her anesthesiology residency at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Services, where she served as chief recruitment resident. She completed her fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

She is an assistant professor in the Chronic Pain Division in the Department of Anesthesiology in the UAMS College of Medicine.
