UAMS to Provide COVID-19 Vaccinations March 22 at Jericho Way Day Resource Center in Little Rock

There is no out-of-pocket cost to the patient. UAMS will administer 100 doses of the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine on a first-come, first-served basis. The clinic also will have two-dose vaccines available if needed.

Individuals in the following phases are eligible:

Phase 1-A: Health care workers, long-term care residents and staff, EMS, fire and law enforcement who serve as first responders and other high priority groups.

Phase 1-B: People age 65 years and older, educators, food and agriculture, essential government and others. More information about who is in the 1-B category.  (Please bring proof of employment for verification).

Phase 1-C: Arkansans aged 16 to 64 with health conditions that increase their risk for severe COVID-19; people residing in high-risk settings, including those who are incarcerated or detained, those living in group homes, congregate settings or crowded housing and student housing such as dorms, and fraternity and sorority housing; and essential workers in a variety of fields. The vaccinations will be conducted by UAMS in cooperation with Jericho’s Way, Trio’s Restaurant, the Vaccinate the Natural State campaign, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Bank of America Foundation.

UAMS also operates a public vaccination clinic in partnership with the City of Little Rock at the Centre at University Park, located at 6401 West 12th St., in Little Rock. The COVID Vaccine Clinic is open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Calls and online requests will be returned in the order in which they are received.

Even if you don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms, wash your hands regularly and practice social distancing by staying at least 6 feet away from other people not in your household, and wear a mask in public.
