UAMS to Provide COVID-19 Vaccinations May 4 in Rogers
| FAYETTEVILLE — A University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be held from 3-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1416 W. Poplar St., in Rogers.
Pre-registration for the event is available, and walk-ups will be welcome. To register ahead, visit vaccinesignup.uams.edu/nwaclinic or call 479-332-0222 and a UAMS staff member will contact you to schedule your appointment.
Recipients of the vaccine will not need to provide their Social Security number, proof of citizenship or legal status. Insurance information will be collected if it is available, but there will be no out-of-pocket costs to the patient. UAMS will administer one dose of the two-dose Pfizer vaccine at the clinic, which is the only vaccine approved for use in teens as young as 16.
All Arkansans age 16 and older are eligible for vaccinations. A parent or guardian must come to the vaccine appointment with patients under 18.
The vaccinations will be conducted by UAMS in cooperation with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Hispanic Women’s Organization of Arkansas, Arkansas Immigrant Defense, RootED NWA, Arkansas United, and Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Even if you don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms, wash your hands regularly and practice social distancing by staying at least 6 feet away from other people not in your household, and wear a mask in public.
