Volunteers Needed for Patient Call Light Coverage
| Supervisors and managers in non-clinical areas are asked to look at the workloads of their staff and determine if any non-critical work can be delayed to allow staff to offer support to for this current area of need.
Answer patient call lights: Serve as desk support on an inpatient unit by answering unit phone calls and patient call lights and relaying messages to nurses and techs. Sign up for a four-hour shift during the workweek. Available shifts are 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, 1 – 5 pm and 4:45 – 8:45 pm.
