ASRS Annual Meeting Sees Multiple Presentations from Jones Eye Institute

“We are proud to have a prolific research team that is internationally recognized,” said Paul Phillips, M.D., Jones Eye Institute director and chair of the UAMS Department of Opthalmology in the College of Medicine. “This work is a testament to the great strides our residents and faculty are making in retinal research.”

Among the presenters were Zia Siddiqui, M.D.; Muhammad Shamim, M.D.; Zain Chauhan; Ahmed Shakarchi, M.D., MPH; John Coleman; Abdelrahman Elhusseiny, M.D.; Sayena Jabbehdari, M.D., MPH; and faculty members Ahmed Sallam, M.D., Ph.D., Sami Uwaydat, M.D., and Riley Sanders, M.D.
