September MVP — Gabbie Robinson

By News Staff

Please read what one of her nominators wrote about how she does that:

Gabbie has always gone above and beyond to make sure patients have a positive experience here at UAMS. From the minute Gabbie begins to interact with a patient, she always gives the patient the floor. She always makes the visit 100% about the patient. She always makes a patient feel heard. She is quick to turn a bad patient experience into a good one.

If she notices something is wrong, she is quick to correct and make things right. Not just for the clinic but for the patient as well. She is very motivated by her work and truly enjoys the work she does. She comes to work every day with a smile on her face, regardless of the things she has going on at home. She never lets her personal life interfere with her work life.

She is very professional in what she does, and she holds a ton of knowledge in many areas. Gabbie is not only a fantastic coworker, but she is also an amazing friend. She is always there to listen and offer advice. She will be completely honest with you and not just tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. I believe Gabrielle Robinson is the perfect example of a UAMS MVP.

UAMS will recognize Gabbie in several ways as this month’s MVP. Look for her photo on the Employee Appreciation Wall outside the Chancellor’s Suite in the Central Building. She will receive free parking for a month in any of the parking decks. A Faces of UAMS video will feature her, and the university will give her some great UAMS swag. At one of chancellor’s cabinet meetings, Gabbie also will receive a certificate and monetary award.

Do you know someone who should be the next MVP? If you have someone you’d like to nominate, please visit go.uams.edu/mvp/ and fill out the form.

Please congratulate Gabbie for being our MVP of the Month!
