UAMS’ Katie Leath Elected to Center for Plain Language’s Board of Directors
| Katie Leath, MPH, M.A., the director of the Center for Health Literacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Center for Plain Language.
The Center for Plain Language, formed in 2003 and headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is a nonprofit organization that helps government agencies and businesses provide clear and understandable information to their audiences.
Leath’s three-year term on the board begins June 1.
“I am honored to be elected to the board of directors for the Center for Plain Language, and I’m excited work with the board who share our same mission to make information easy to understand and use,” Leath said.
