Cassie Fagan
| Meet Cassie Fagan, the MVP for August. Cassie serves as an access coordinator at the UAMS Northeast Regional Campus in Jonesboro. In the course of her work, she puts into practice the UAMS values of integrity, respect, diversity and health equity, teamwork, creativity, excellence and safety. Please read what one of her nominators wrote about how she does that:
As a dedicated member of the UAMS Northeast community, Cassie exemplifies the outstanding service and commitment that aligns with our mission and core values. Cassie currently serves in the medical records office and plays a crucial role in the wellness committee at UAMS Northeast. Her ability to adapt and willingness to assist wherever needed are commendable.
Over the years, her role has expanded significantly, thanks to her innovative efforts to spearhead a new workflow to capture external imaging and referrals through the Enter/Edit results. Cassie not only integrated this process seamlessly at UAMS Northeast but also led its implementation across several other primary care clinics throughout the state.
Cassie consistently maintains a positive attitude and is always ready to lend a hand. Her polite, friendly, respectful, considerate, positive, and kind demeanor sets an excellent example for her colleagues. She embodies our core values in all aspects of her work.
UAMS will recognize Cassie in several ways as this month’s MVP. Look for her photo on the Employee Appreciation Wall outside the Chancellor’s Suite in the Central Building. A Faces of UAMS video will feature her, and she will receive some great UAMS swag, too. At one of the chancellor’s cabinet meetings, Cassie will be presented with a certificate and monetary award, and UAMS will honor her and other awardees at the year-end MVP luncheon.
