UAMS College of Health Professions to Offer Academic Advisors Workshop on Oct. 2

The workshop for high school guidance counselors and academic advisors will provide an opportunity to learn more about the college’s allied health programs, gain a deeper understanding of prerequisite requirements, explore the Little Rock campus and tour program labs and classrooms.

The deadline to register is Sept. 13, and the college will provide each attendee with a continental breakfast, lunch and snack. Parking will be available in the nearby Parking 2 deck. Register online at: healthprofessions.uams.edu/fall-advisors-meeting-registration/ or call 501-686-5730.

Established in 1971 at UAMS, the college now comprises 10 academic departments dedicated to advancing health professions in Arkansas and is the largest college in enrollment of all the colleges at the university.
