Inclement Weather Alert
| UAMS is implementing its inclement weather policies for its main campus in Little Rock effective at 2:30 p.m. today. Shuttle buses will stop running at 3 p.m. Employees are encouraged to move their cars now to parking decks. Gates have been raised and will remain up during the inclement weather declaration.
Non-critical campus areas are closed. UAMS will notify employees and students when those areas are reopened or if decisions are made to extend or lift the inclement weather declaration.
Clinical Programs are operating according to the Medical Center inclement weather policy. Outpatient clinics except for the Infusion center and Radiation Oncology at the Cancer Institute will be closed on Friday.
Any campus non-critical employee who has the ability to work from home should work from home during inclement weather.
UAMS campuses or facilities outside of the Little Rock area have their own protocol regarding activation of this policy. For sites outside of Central Arkansas, please check with your supervisor. Please watch for email announcements, texts on the Rave System, our web site, social media and local TV and radio for more information on the Little Rock campus.
