Dollie Allen-Williams
| Meet Dollie Allen-Williams, the MVP for January. Dollie serves UAMS as a supervisor in the Phlebotomy Laboratory. In the course of her work, she puts into practice the UAMS values of integrity, respect, diversity and health equity, teamwork, creativity, excellence and safety. Please read what her nominator wrote about how she does that:
Dollie deserves to be an MVP because she always goes above-and-beyond in her job. She has worked and dedicated 34 years of her life to UAMS. She does her best to run the Outpatient Lab, Cancer Institute Blood Draw and the Phlebotomy class she teaches to UAMS students trying to obtain nationally certification in phlebotomy. All of her fellow staff, coworkers, students, and patients love and trust Dollie.
UAMS will recognize Dollie in several ways as this month’s MVP. Look for her photo on the Employee Appreciation Wall outside the Chancellor’s Suite in the Central Building. She will receive free parking for a month in any of the parking decks. A Faces of UAMS video will feature her, and we’re giving her some great UAMS swag. At one of the chancellor’s cabinet meetings, Dollie will receive a certificate and monetary award and honor her and other awardees at the year-end MVP luncheon.
Do you know someone who should be the next MVP? If you have someone you’d like to nominate, please visit go.uams.edu/mvp/ and fill out the form.
Please congratulate Dollie for being our MVP of the Month!
