MVP for September — Kristin Koeppler
| Meet Kristin Koeppler, the MVP for September. Kristin is a patient services associate in UAMS Main Pre-Operative services. In the course of her work, she puts into practice the UAMS culture of being polite, friendly, respectful, thoughtful, optimistic and compassionate. Please read what one of her nominators wrote.
Kristin exemplifies all UAMS values, but a recent example highlights her commitment to excellence and patient safety. A patient was brought to the preoperative room. While obtaining vital signs, Kristin’s quick recognition of some symptoms prevented a serious patient event. She alerted the right people, in the right manner, to ensure the patient was cared for. Kristin’s communication is great. She is respectful and considerate of others as she carries out her daily tasks. Excellent job!
UAMS will recognize Koeppler in several ways as this month’s MVP. Look for her photo on the Employee Appreciation Wall outside the Chancellor’s Suite in the Central Building. A Faces of UAMS video will feature her, and UAMS will honor her and other awardees at the year-end MVP luncheon.
