UAMS Partners Card 2025 Expands with More Shops, Locations to Support Cancer Patients
| The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Auxiliary Partners Card fundraising campaign is expanding in 2025, with 18 new merchants joining the effort, including, for the first time, retailers in Stuttgart.
About 180 shops and restaurants across Central and Northwest Arkansas will offer 20% discounts Oct. 24 through Nov. 2, through the program, which benefits patients at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
This marks the 22nd year for the Cancer Institute to offer the Partners Card in Central Arkansas, the 18th year in Northwest Arkansas and the seventh year in Conway. With Stuttgart now added to the list, the campaign continues to grow its reach, raising more than $3 million since 2003 to support programs and services for UAMS cancer patients.
“Partners Card is about more than shopping and dining. It’s about coming together as a community to ease the burden of patients going through cancer treatment,” said Peyton Woodyard, volunteer chairperson of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Auxiliary Partners Card fundraiser and longtime member of the Cancer Institute Auxiliary. “Every card purchased directly impacts patients and their families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.”
For 10 days, shoppers and diners who purchase the $50 cards will receive a 20% discount at participating stores and restaurants. To purchase a Partners Card or view a complete list of participating shops and restaurants, visit uamspartnerscard.com. Cards may also be purchased by calling 501-686-8286 or at participating locations indicated on the website.
Proceeds from Partners Card sales help cover the hidden costs of cancer care that patients often incur, such as transportation, nutritional support and housing assistance. Thanks to sponsors covering the program’s costs, 100% of card sales go directly to helping cancer patients in Arkansas.
