The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will host an Oct. 31 information session for those who are interested in academic or career opportunities at UAMS.
The Future in Focus information session will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Active Learning Center on the first floor of the UAMS Library in the Education II Building, located on Campus Drive on the Little Rock campus.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with faculty members, advisers and current students while gaining valuable insight into the academic programs offered by the College of Health Professions, College of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health and the UAMS Graduate School.
Additionally, representatives from the UAMS Office of Human Resources will be on-hand to discuss employment options in such areas as patient care, campus operations, management and administration, academia, advocacy, information technology and research.
