Cochran also serves as an assistant professor in the College of Medicine’s Department of Geriatrics. She started in her new roles in October, about four months after she completed a geriatric medicine fellowship at UAMS.

“I’ve already learned so much from working with my colleagues at the Institute on Aging, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue my career at UAMS,” she said.

Cochran earned her bachelor’s degrees in biology and environmental science from Spelman College in Atlanta. She then went to Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, where she completed the college’s Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program and later obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree.

In 2021, Cochran moved to Arkansas for an internal medicine residency at White River Health in Batesville. After completing her residency in 2024, she came to UAMS for her fellowship.

Cochran is accepting patients at the Thomas and Lyon Longevity Clinic in Little Rock. To schedule an appointment, call (501) 686-6219.
