Laura Riedinger
| Meet Laura Riedinger, the university’s MVP for March and chaplain resident in UAMS Chaplain Services.
In the course of her work, she puts into practice the UAMS culture of being polite, friendly, respectful, thoughtful, optimistic and compassionate. Her nominator was inspired by Laura’s compassionate action during a holiday.
At 2 a.m. on Christmas morning, Laura received a call from the the UAMS Emergency Department. Despite the time of day and day itself, she quickly made it to the department and there provided comfort and counseling to a patient and their family, who were in great need of it.
UAMS will recognize Laura in several ways as this month’s MVP. Look for her photo on the Employee Appreciation Wall outside the Chancellor’s Suite in the Central Building. A Faces of UAMS video will feature her, and UAMS will honor her and other awardees at the year-end MVP luncheon.
