UAMS Health Little Rock Open Set for May 24-31 at Rebsamen Tennis Center, Admission is Free

| The 2026 UAMS Health Little Rock Open, an Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour tournament, kicks off May 24 at Rebsamen Tennis Center in Little Rock and runs through May 31. A One-Point Singles Tournament Showdown kicks off the festivities on May 23.

Admission is free to this year’s tournament, which will include men’s singles and men’s doubles match play featuring some of the highest-ranked tennis players in the world.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will again host the tournament with proceeds supporting the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute’s Bone Marrow Transplant program.

“We would like to thank the Association of Tennis Professionals, the City of Little Rock, and all our generous sponsors who come together in what can only be described as an impressive collaboration,” said C. Lowry Barnes, M.D., UAMS chancellor. “UAMS is extremely grateful to be part of this tennis tournament — it is a great opportunity to come together with our Little Rock community while raising money for the Cancer Institute’s Bone Marrow Transplant program.”

It is the 45th year Little Rock has hosted the hardcourt men’s tennis tournament. This is the tournament’s sixth year as an ATP Challenger Tour event, the second-highest tier of tennis competition.

There will be an opening ceremony Tuesday, May 26, at 6 p.m.

“The Little Rock Open highlights so many things that are great about Little Rock and Arkansas, especially in celebration of the great game of tennis,” said Chip Stearns, director of the UAMS Health Little Rock Open and director of Rebsamen Tennis Center. “We are again expecting some of the best tennis players in the world to travel here to Little Rock for what will be another exciting tournament.”

Matches will be held on the following days:

  • Saturday, May 23, 5-8 p.m. (One-Point Tournament)
  • Sunday, May 24, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (qualifying)
  • Monday, May 25, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (qualifying and first round)
  • Tuesday, May 26, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. (first and second round)
  • Wednesday, May 27, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. (first and second round)
  • Thursday, May 28, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (round of 16)
  • Friday, May 29, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. (quarterfinals and doubles semifinals)
  • Saturday, May 30, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (semifinals and doubles final)
  • Sunday, May 31 1 p.m.-3 p.m. (final)

For the first time, a One-Point Singles Tournament Showdown — a fast-paced event where each match is decided by just one point will be held on the eve of the tournament. The event from 5-8 p.m. will match 32 local amateur players with 32 pros for a chance to take home $1,000 for the winner, while the runner-up will receive $500. There is a $5 registration fee. The Rebsamen Tennis Center will also host children on May 27 from 4-5:30 p.m. for a tennis enrichment session. During the session, children will learn tennis techniques and rules from some of the tournament’s participants and volunteers.

There will also be a UAMS Health Little Rock Open Family Day tennis clinic on May 28 at 5 p.m. It is free for everyone. No registration is required.
