Emergency Medicine Physician Ryan Le, M.D., Joins UAMS
| LITTLE ROCK — Emergency medicine physician Ryan Le, M.D., has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Emergency Department.
Le, an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine, completed his emergency medicine residency at UAMS this past year, where he served as residency chair of operations.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Ryan Le to our Emergency Medicine faculty,” said Ashley Booth Norse, M.D., chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and clinical service chief of emergency medicine for UAMS Medical Center. “He completed his residency at UAMS and is an outstanding clinician with a strong commitment to patient care. Dr. Le will be a valuable addition to our team.”
Le earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSA), Joe & Theresa Lozano Long School of Medicine. At UTHSA, he was a pre-medical mentor for high school and college students as they prepared to enter medical school.
In addition to treating patients, Le will also train residents in emergency medicine.
