RockStar Lounge Oct. 7 to Benefit UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute

Guests are invited to “party like a rock star” from 6:30-10:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center to the sounds of Aerosmith tribute band Draw the Line.

Tickets are $75 and may be purchased at www.cancer.uams.edu/envoys or by calling (501) 526-2277. RockStar Lounge is sponsored by the Envoys, a Cancer Institute advocacy group. Hosts are Herren Hickingbotham and Tiffany Robinson.

Draw the Line, of Boston, is the only Aerosmith tribute band to be publicly endorsed by the members of Aerosmith. Guests also will enjoy specialty cocktails, concert-styled food and a Rock Band game competition.

Presenting sponsor is Win Rockefeller Jr. Beverage sponsor is Glazer’s, and band accommodations are provided by Crowne Plaza.

Envoys is an advocacy group whose mission is to advance the outreach efforts of the Cancer Institute by promoting its physicians, scientists, programs and vision in the local community and beyond. Membership is free, and volunteering hours are flexible.
