Three Named to UAMS Cancer Institute Foundation Board
| LITTLE ROCK – The board of directors of the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Foundation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has announced the election of three new board members.
The new members are Patricia Millard Johnson and Pete Yuan, both of Little Rock, and Judy Englehart, of Fort Smith.
Johnson, vice president and senior manager with U.S. Bank’s Private Banking Division, attended Texas Southern University in Houston. Her banking career spans more than 30 years both in Arkansas and Oregon.
Yuan, president of the Arkansas region of Iberia Bank, is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. He also has responsibility for the bank’s title business, operated under Lender’s Title, United Title and American Abstract.
Englehart is executive vice president of Regions Insurance and has been with the company since 1982. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, she also is leader of the Regions Insurance Group Heathcare Division.
Members are selected for three-year terms and may serve up to three terms total.
UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Related Professions and Public Health; a graduate school; a hospital; a statewide network of regional centers; and seven institutes: the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute, the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, the Harvey & Bernice Jones Eye Institute, the Psychiatric Research Institute, the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging and the Translational Research Institute.
