Mary Croker, M.D., Joins UAMS Hospice and Palliative Care Program
| LITTLE ROCK – Mary Croker, M.D., has joined the Hospice and Palliative Care Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She sees patients in the Palliative Care Clinic at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Croker, an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine, previously served as a hospitalist for oncology patients at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Prior to her medical training, she was a veterinarian, practicing small animal medicine and surgery in Little Rock and Heber Springs, Ark.; St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Detroit.
Board certified in internal medicine, Croker is a graduate of the UAMS College of Medicine. After completing her internship and internal medicine residency at UAMS, she served for six years as a hospitalist for the oncology ward at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.
She then completed a fellowship in the UAMS Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine Fellowship Program.
